Monday - Posted video lecture on the POETRY PROJECT - Intro & Imagery. Take excellent notes. Assignment in Google Classroom called "Imagery Builder" is due Friday.
Friday - Please turn in poetry assignment and anything else missing from GLASS CASTLE. If it's something that's already in the grade book, please send me an email and tell me to go back to it, or else I won't see it. Thanks!

Tuesday (BLOCK) - Talk about documentary and journalism. What are the rules of journalism and how has news become a source of controversy? What is the power of storytelling? Here are some clips we will be looking at: The Five Core Values of Journalism, Narrative in Journalism in Politics, Five Food Documentaries. Worksheets for all! We'll be working on persuasive presentations next week, so we are prepping for that. Read an excerpt from The Jungle in the text book & do a short assignment, focusing on author's intention.
